Resources
Information and inspiration are vital for taking action and making positive change in the world. On this page you will find some of my favorite sources for this. I always encourage people to first shop locally and support your local businesses. The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Biggest Problems by Van Jones
Van Jones has been a dear friend for many years. He opened my eyes to take a deeper look at how racism works in the world today, in particularly in the U.S. He helped me in the journey (which feels like a life journey) of undoing my own inherent racism which exists because of the priveledge I experience based on being white. I shared with him the idea that we can not have lasting justice and peace for people, if we do not at the same time work for justice for and peace with the planet. It has been amazing to have him as ally, peer, and friend. I have learned a lot from him, and you could learn some great things, or just have a new frame work for things you already feel and know by reading his book.
